Las Vegas is one of the most-visited cities in the entire world. The city is full of travelers, many of whom do not have their reliable transportation with them. Because Las Vegas caters so heavily to visitors, there are lots of public transportation options. Vegas has bussses, shuttles, trams, even monotrails. Public Transportation in Vegas

There are several options if you're in Vegas looking for public transportation. The airport offers free shuttle service right to the Las Vegas strip. Once you're at the strip, take advantage of the Las Vegas Monorail. This is a comfortable, air-conditioned ride that runs for four miles up and down the Strip beginning at 7 am every day. It makes seven stops all along the Strip, taking visitors to the most popular places.

Other Options

There are other public transportation options in Vegas. The city-wide bus system runs 24 hours a day every day. There is a bus route right along the Strip that will take you to all the hotspots. You can also hop on board the Bellagio tram if you like. This is a free tram that runs between several of the big hotels on the Strip.

Getting Around Las Vegas

One of the best and easiest ways to get around is simply to walk. It's very easy to navigate Vegas by foot and many people choose to do this. But if you have a longer trip to make or you want more flexibility, there are tons of car rental places in and all around the city.

All the major hotels and casinos offer parking. There are daily parking fees but they are highly affordable, beginning at as little as $1 per day. You can also park for free at many of the hotels and casinos, or find one of the areas with parking meters on and near the Strip.

The DIY Option

If you don't want to use public transportation or rent a car, use your apps. Ride-sharing companies are always available and always running in Las Vegas, so you can use your phone for a ride whenever you need one.
