Cocktail Corner: Showcasing Signature Casino Drinks
Cocktails have been around for centuries and many people have tried some cocktails in their lives. In fact, you may have a favorite. There are certain events, places and holidays that are associated with specific cocktails. The Kentucky Derby, for example, is just as famous for mint juleps as it is for horses. Some casinos have signature casino drinks, too, delicious cocktails that are special to one specific place. How many of them have you tried...and which ones are you going to want to try very soon?
Having a Sip
These days, online casinos offer just about everything you can find at real-world casinos. The same games, the same type of betting, even live play and tournament play are all available at online casinos. In fact, many online casinos offer a much bigger selection of games than you could ever hope to find in a real-world casino. But those physical casinos still have one advantage over the online world: signature cocktails. Well, any kind of cocktail. But some casinos have their own signature cocktails that help them stand apart.
Vegas Signature Casino Drinks
The next time you're on the strip, stop into some of the casinos that have their own signature drinks. Visit the Bellagio to try a tango cocktail. It's made with gin, passionfruit liqueur, ruby red grapefruit juice and simple syrup. The drink is fruity and sweet and delicious. You can get another fruity drink at Caesars Palace when you order a pineapple mule. It has pineapple vodka and it's served in a copper mug.
Next Level Cocktails
Flavored liqueurs and unusual spirits are always fun, but some casinos take their signature cocktails to a whole new level. Go to the Palazzo to sip on something that actually has edible flowers in it! It's the Peruvian Love and it's got mango flavoring, Cointreau, cranberry juice, lime juice, lavender bitters and rock candy syrup. An edible flower garnish is served with it.
Simpler Cocktails
You don't have to be fancy just because you're drinking cocktails. If you don't much like the fru-fru drinks and flowers and bows and ribbons and all of that, go over to the MGM Grand for whiskey in te jar. This is Old Forester bourbon infused with mint and served with fresh watermelon, lime juice and ginger beer. It really is served in a jar and there is nothing fru-fru about it.
